Mr. Slain brings to SplashData a wealth of software experience from prior executive positions at Mobile Digital Media (MDM), Palm and The Walt Disney Company.
As SplashData’s CEO, Mr. Slain will focus on updating and expanding the company’s popular line of productivity software. SplashData is best known for its SplashWallet application suite, including SplashID, SplashPhoto, SplashMoney and SplashShopper. MDM was a spinoff from Palm, Inc., where Mr. Slain served as an executive charged with strategic alliances, managing relationships with AOL, Yahoo, Excite and NTT DoCoMo. Prior to joining Palm, Mr. Slain spent nearly eight years in a series of roles at The Walt Disney Company, culminating with his appointment as Vice President of New Media & Business Development.
